PEER consists of four friends from Middelburg. In 2017 they released their energetic debut EP Mad For It!
In 2019, PEER released their debut album Laughing About It Is Far More Exciting. While the band’s sound constantly evolves, everything they release is directly recognizable as PEER. The single ‘I Don’t Wanna’ is featured in a worldwide campaign for Mercedes and the songs ‘Bird’ and ‘Bleeding Butterflies’ have been used in the Japanese Netflix show Terrace House.
Since their inception, PEER has toured extensively. This includes international tours in the UK and India. Wherever they perform they are met with huge excitement from the crowd. The band has performed in the popular talk show DWDD and their music has been played on radio stations like NPO Radio 2 and 3FM.
Currently, the band is in the studio recording new material with Mario Goossens (Triggerfinger). The music to come will showcase a more mature sound, but will still be unmistakably PEER.
